Let’s get going (you could call it day 1)
First thing upon arriving at work I took the oil [Extra Light (tasting) Olive Oil for those listening at home] - this time with a bottle of non-flavored sugar water standing by and using a table spoon rather than a oral syringe.
Much, much better. At least this time I didn’t feel like I had oil stuck in my throat for the rest of the day. Even though this is the extra light stuff it still smells like I’m cooking sweet and sour chicken and forming an association like that is a bad thing.
We went to eat with some friends and through a series of events we ended up not having dinner until about 21:00 which is about the time I’m laying in bed normally. Despite that, it seems the primary action of the diet (appetite suppression) is starting to work quite well. My wife and I normally would have eaten 4 hours earlier but we did pretty good.
I have discovered that until I drop a kid or two (20-30 lbs) it’s going to be hard to tell anyone about the diet. The “drinking” oil thing just sounds too gross for most people.
