Dropping off or picking up?

Nothing much to report. Time marches on. I have noticed that if I eat and haloween candy I’m suddenly hungry. I still keep running into the compulsion to eat something - even though I’m not hungry and am just fine when I don’t do it, probably transitional boredom.

  1. I’ve found that candy works as a pretty powerful ditto food.

I’ve been experimenting with what moves my set point up or down.

Rather than coast to a final weight or fine tune what I use to move my set point, I’ve been letting my weight drop, then pushing it back up by using ditto foods to adjust my set point back up.

It has been interesting to see what works and what doesn’t, as I keep my weight between 169 and 171 (was bouncing between 167 and 171 but I’ve narrowed the bounce).

I also found that people didn’t notice the first 40-50 pounds of weight loss like they noticed the last part—around 60 my face quit looking “fat” and suddenly everyone noticed.  That was strange.

Glad it continues to work for you.
